Bio
A PhD student in Composition and Sound Creation, now defining herself more broadly as a sound artist, Thais Montanari works on projects involving experimental music, sound art, soundscapes and video art. Artistically, she is attracted by the use of images, sounds and situations from everyday issues. She likes to leave an important place for improvisation in the various creations. In parallel with her professional projects, she offers creative workshops to different audiences and is interested in the dissemination of art in rural and disadvantaged areas.
